1-2 cans of DICED TOMATOES (preferably fire grilled)
dab of TOMATO PASTE (small dab!)
chopped BLACK OLIVES
thickly sliced MUSHROOMS
a few slices of RED ONION
squirt of LEMON JUICE
a few leaves of FRESH BASIL
tiny bit of GARLIC
a few tblsps of RED WINE VINEGAR
combine and heat up while preparing the pasta,
let simmer while you're setting the table.
